Inverter power supplies provide a clocked direct current that is generated by inversion of an intermediate direct current voltage. This principle allows excellent control of the output power and virtually any pulse shapes.

Inverter power supplies today cover almost every application in practice. For most applications, they are the preferred and cheapest alternative for difficult welding processes.

High Frequency Inverter Spot Welding Power Supply - HF2

The HF2 High Frequency Inverter precisely controls and monitors electrical AND mechanical weld parameters. Miniature welds are highly sensitive to small heat profile fluctuations in the resistance welding process. Overheating deforms and destroys parts, while underheating results in a weak and unacceptable bond. To achieve consistent, reliable welds of small to micro-miniature parts, heating needs to be precisely controlled. This necessitates superior control of the energy output.

Inverter Spot Welder - IS-300A

Small enough to fit on a bench, the all-new IS-300A 300 Amp inverter spot welder is ideal for customers and integrators who require high output, but have limited production space.

The IS-300A inverter spot welder offers a range of new and improved features including six control modes (primary limit, primary and secondary root mean square (RMS), secondary constant power, secondary voltage control, and fixed pulse) and 0.050 kA - 20 kA of power in 3 ranges. The low current ranges are ideal for small or fine applications.

IPB-5000A - Inverter Power Supply

The IPB5000 inverter resistance welding power supply delivers superior welding control for a wide range of micro-joining applications. When paired with the ITB-780A6 transformer this unit is capable of a maximum output of 6000 Amps, making it ideal for most resistive and conductive welding applications. It operates in constant current, voltage or power feedback modes and is capable of welding in a combo mode (current and voltage) to meet even the most challenging application or process conditions.

ISQ Series - Inverter Power Supply

Amada Miyachi Europe provides the high-end ISQ 20 power supply especially for automotive, tooling and electric/electronic industries requiring high-end interfacing and high-speed automation. The ISQ Series is designed to be used in combination with mechanical, pneumatical or motorised weld heads.

Mid-Frequency Inverter Weld Controls - IS Series

The new IS series mid-frequency inverter resistance weld controls feature closed-loop current, voltage, and power feedback, fast response times, and a wide range of output power - 0.050-80 kA in 4 ranges. This makes them ideal for small or large, single or mixed part manufacturing.

Packaged in a NEMA enclosure, the new units come as standard with a rotary handle and internal circuit breaker. It has a “triple pulse” weld capability which provides flexible weld profiles and enables three pulses in each cycle. Each weld segment can be programmed with upslope and downslope and may contain up to 19 pulses.
