We are the market leader in developing, building and servicing machines and components for Laser Welding, Laser Marking, Resistance Welding, Hot Bar, Laser Cutting, TIG Welding, Hermetic Sealing and for providing customised systems.

In 1908, PECO was founded in Pasing, Germany

1972
In 1972, MIYACHI Corporation was founded in Tokyo, Japan

1995
In 1995, UNITEK which is a full subsidiary of MIYACHI Technos Corporation (Tokyo, Japan) is integrated into MIYACHI Group

2001
In 2001, the activities in the NL are renamed to UNITEK EAPRO

2005
In 2005, MIYACHI EUROPE and PECO merged

2008
In 2008, UNITEK EAPRO and MIYACHI EUROPE joined as MIYACHI EUROPE.

2013
In 2013, AMADA and MIYACHI joined as part of a friendly takeover

AMADA MIYACHI EUROPE's parent company, AMADA MIYACHI CO., LTD., was founded in 1972 to manufacture and market semiconductor-related measuring instruments and welding control equipment in response to the demand for quality control in the automotive, television, and electronics industries. The company incorporated microprocessors and other electronic devices into its resistance welders to enable high-quality precision joining, monitoring and analysis. Its weld checkers are used worldwide for weld monitoring.

In 1984, the company developed a neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet (Nd:YAG) laser welder that enabled precision and micro-welding, and this product line became a core component of the company’s business, along with resistance welding. In recent years, it has advanced into laser marking, with the development of small and powerful Nd:YAG and neodymium-doped yttrium orthovanadate (Nd:YV04) laser markers.
